Dongming Town, belonging to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Tongliao Naiman Banner, is located in the eastern part of the Naiman Banner, east of the town of law and order, south of the Kulun Banner Manghan Sumu, west of the town of Baxian tube, the solid Ribanhuasumu, north of Mingren Sumu, the Sixth Farm. The area covers 720.96 square kilometers. As of the end of 2018, Dongming Township had a household population of 48,074. In August 1956, it was changed to Dongming Township.In October 1958, Dongming Commune was set up.In May 1983, it was renamed Dongming Township.In December 1984, the township was withdrawn and established. As of June 2020, Dongming Township has 33 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. As of the end of 2018, Dongming Township has 7 industrial enterprises and 60 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
