Dongfeng Town, belonging to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Tongliao City, Kailu County, is located in the eastern part of Kailu County, east of the border with horqin district, south of the town adjacent to the Jirigalangtu, west of the town of Kailu, Jianhua Town, connected to the north of the town of the small streets of the town junction. The area covers 387.26 square kilometers. As of the end of 2018, Dongfeng Township had a household population of 21,509. In 1958, it was incorporated into the former Mingren Commune.In 1960, it was set aside from Mingren Commune to build Dongfeng Commune.In 1984, Dongfeng Town was established. As of June 2020, Dongfeng Township has 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and another 2 village-level units. As of the end of 2018, Dongfeng Town had 10 industrial enterprises and 113 general stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
