Daming Town, belonging to Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the western part of Ningcheng County, east of the junction with the town of Shiozi, south of the town of Busy Farming, west of the town of Dacheng, north of the town of Xiaochengzheng, from the government of Ningcheng County, 25 km, a total area of 174 square kilometers.
In the Liao Dynasty, Zhongjing Dadingfu was set up in the area of Daming Town; in 2006, Bakengzhong Township was incorporated into Daming Town. As of the end of 2018, the registered population of Daming Township was 37,998.In 2019, Daming Township has 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the People's Government stationed in the West Village behind the city.
