Balihan Town, belonging to Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southwestern part of Ningcheng County, east of Dashuangmiao Town, south of the junction with the right Beiping Town, west of the border with the Karachiqin Banner Wang Yedian Town, north of the town of Sanzadian connected to the Ningcheng County Government 60 kilometers away from the area of a total area of 373 square kilometers. At the beginning of liberation, it belonged to the third district of Ningcheng County.In September 2006, Hot Water Town was merged into Balihan Town. As of the end of 2018, the household population of Balihan Town was 41,148.In 2019, 29 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of Balihan Town, and the people's government was stationed in Balihan Village.In 2018, there were 47 industrial enterprises in Balihan Town, of which 3 were above the scale, and there were 50 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters or more. On October 14, 2016, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development announced the list of the first batch of Chinese characteristic towns, in which Balihan Town became the only Chifeng town to enter the list.
