Xiajiehe Township, belonging to Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County of Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, bordering Dasiping Township in the east, Nandianzi Township and Alkali Factory Township of Benxi Manchu Autonomous County of Benxi City in the south, connecting to Ma'aiqi Township of Fushun County and Qinghe Township of Benxi Manchu Autonomous County of Benxi City in the west, and bordering with Reedayu Township in the north, which is the junction of three counties, namely, Xinbin, Fushun, and Benxi. The area of the jurisdiction is 165.89 square kilometers. As of the end of 2018, Xiajiehe Township had a household population of 9,932. In October 1956, Xiajiehe Township was established.In May 1961, Xiajiehe Commune was established.On March 7, 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of Xiajiehe Commune was established.In January 1981, the Management Committee of Xiajiehe Commune was established.In June 1984, Xiajiehe Manchu Township was established. In November of the same year, it was renamed Ha-Je-He Township. As of June 2020, Xiajiehe Township has 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located at 097 Gangdong Village. In 2018, there were 22 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Xiajiehe Township.
