Xinbin Town, belonging to Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, the remaining veins of the Changbai Mountains, the upper reaches of the Suzi River, neighboring Hongsheng Township in the east, bordering Yongling Township in the south and west, and north of North Siping Township. The administrative area covers a total area of 373.4 square kilometers. As of the end of 2018, Xinbin Township had a household population of 65,522.
In June 1952, the ninth district was changed to Xinbin Town. in May 1953, Xinbin Town was changed to Chengguan District. in June 1955, Chengguan District was reorganized into Xinbin Town. in April 1968, it was changed into Xinbin Town Revolutionary Committee. in 1981, it was changed into Xinbin Town. in October 1998, Chengguan Township was merged into Xinbin Township. As of June 2020, Xinbin Town has 5 communities and 31 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located at 2-8 Yanshui Street.
