Dasiping Town, belonging to Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County of Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, neighboring Bali Dianzi Town of Huanren Manchu Autonomous County of Benxi City in the southeast, connecting with Alkali Factory Town of Benxi Manchu Autonomous County of Benxi City in the southwest, bordering with Reed Valley Town in the northwest, and adjoining with Pingdingshan Town in the north. The area of the jurisdiction is 265.01 square kilometers. As of the end of 2018, Dasiping Town had a household population of 19,631. In 1960, Dasiping Commune was established.In 1990, the name was changed to Dasiping Town.In 1996, the Xinbin County government abolished Caoban Township, and Caoban Township was transferred to Dasiping Town.
