Dagou Town, belonging to Yangdong District, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, is located in the southeastern part of Yangdong District, east of Xinzhou Town, across the river, south of the sea, west of Yashao Town, north of Heshan Town, Bei惯 Town junction, the administrative area of 104.84 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Dagou Town is 47,766. During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Qiaomadu Qiaomadu Qiaomadu San and Si Tu, Changle Township, Yangjiang County.In February 1987, the district was withdrawn and set up Dagou Town.In January 1988, Yangjiang withdrew its county and established a city, divided into Yangxi County, Yangdong District and Jiangcheng District, and Dagou Township was under the jurisdiction of Yangdong District in Yangjiang City.In July 1999, Yangdong withdrew its district and set up a county, and Dagou Township was under the jurisdiction of Yangdong County. As of October 2021, Dagou Town has 1 community and 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located in Yongxing Road.
