Dabachi Town, belonging to Yangdong District, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, is located in the northern part of Yangdong District, bordering Nalong Town, Heshan Town and Qingwan Town of Enping City in the east, Beihu Town in the south, Tangping Town in the southwest, and Chuncheng Town of Yangchun City in the northwest, with an administrative area of 303.75 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Daba Town had a household population of 65,684.
During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Nanhe Du Nanhe 2 and 3 Tou in Guishan Township, Yangjiang County, and Beihu 2 Tou in Beihu Du, Pingle Township.In February 1987, the district was reorganized into Dabachi Township.From January 1988 to June 1991, Dabachi Township belonged to the jurisdiction of Yangdong District, and from July 1991 onwards, it belonged to the jurisdiction of Yangdong County. As of October 2021, Dabachi Township has 1 community and 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located at No. 3, Zhenqian Road.
