Weidi Town, belonging to Luoding City, Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, is located in the central east of Luoding City, located in the eastern part of Luoding Pandi, the north of appletang town, Huashi Town, east, west and south of the town with Jinji Town, Sulong Street, Luoping Town, 䓣 Tang Town as neighbors, with a total area of 66.1 square kilometers, about 12 kilometers from the urban area of Luoding, and 72 kilometers away from the city of Yunfu. Weidi Town was known as Lingnan Fort in the Qing Dynasty, and later as Twelve Fort. During the Republic of China period, it was the sixth district of Luoding County, and in 1958, Weidi People's Commune was set up; in 1983, it was set up as a district, and in 1986, it was set up as Weidi Town.
