Jinji Town, belonging to Luoding City, Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, is located in the eastern part of the city, is the eastern gate of Luoding, the old revolutionary area, east of Zhen'an Town and Fulin Town in Yun'an District, south of Yangchun City, bordering with Hailang Town, south-west of the town connecting 䓣 Tang Town, and north-west of Appletang Town as a neighbor. The town has a total area of 86.1 square kilometers, with 10 villages and 1 community under its jurisdiction. The total population is 37,362 (household population at the end of 2019). According to the seventh census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Jinji Town was 26,270 people. Jinji is located in the limestone area of the Yunwu Mountain Residue, which is a karst landscape with abundant limestone resources. The main specialties include mealybug snakes, stone clams, cranberry and Dagangdang rotting bamboo. In 2013, Jinji Town was named "Guangdong Province Education Town", and in 2014, it was assessed as "Guangdong Province Calcium Carbonate Specialized Town" by Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Department.
