Nanyang Town, belonging to Shouning County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the southeastern part of Shouning County, neighboring Rhinoceros Creek Township in the east, Tantou Township and Fankeng Township in Fuan City in the south, Qingyuan Township in the west, and Aoyang Township in the north, the township's people's government is 12 km away from the county town of Shouning, with the total area of the region of 126.27 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Nanyang Town was 28,384. During the Jiading period (1208~1224) of the Southern Song Dynasty, it belonged to the 13th capital of Xixiang, Changxi County; in July 1993, it was changed to a town. As of June 30, 2020, Nanyang Town has 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located at No. 6, Nanxin Street, Nanyang Village.
