Shueijiang Town, belonging to the Nanchuan District, Chongqing City, is located in the northeastern part of Nanchuan District, east and Wulong District Pingqiao Town, Baiyun Township adjacent to the south and Dongcheng Street, Yuquan Township border, the west and stone wall township, Tiecun Township as neighbors, the north and Zhongqiao Township adjacent to the Nanchuan District People's Government Residence, 22 km, with a total area of 233.03 square kilometers. In the second year of Xuantong of Qing Dynasty (1910), the territory of Shuijiang Township belonged to Shuijiang Township; in 1983, it was reorganized from Shuijiang Commune to Shuijiang Township. As of the end of 2018, the registered population of Shuijiang Town was 52,851. As of June 2020, Shui Jiang Town has 8 communities and 9 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Shui Jiang Shi.
