Guhua Town, belonging to Nanchuan District of Chongqing Municipality, is located in the southeast of Nanchuan District, bordering Pingmu Town of Daozhen County of Guizhou Province in the east, Xinzhou Town of Zheng'an County of Guizhou Province in the south, Delong Town in the west and Qingyuan Town in the north, and 38 kilometers away from the People's Government of Nanchuan District, with a total area of 58 square kilometers. In the second year of Xuantong of Qing Dynasty (1910), Yuanhe Township was built around Guhua Township; in 2016, it was changed from Guhua Township to Guhua Township. As of the end of 2018, the household population of Guhua Town was 13,583. As of June 2020, Guhua Township has 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township government is located at 35 Wenzheng Street.
