Riding Long Town, belonging to Nanchuan District, Chongqing City, is located in the northeastern part of Nanchuan District, east of Pingqiao Township, Wulong District, Zhongqiao Township, bordering Zhongqiao Township in the south, west of Democracy, Peak Rock townships, and north of Fuling District, Jubao Township, Wulong District, Fenglai Township, adjoining. The total area of the jurisdiction is 38.24 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, there were 9,547 people registered as households in Riding Dragon Township. In the twenty-ninth year of the Republic of China (1940), the township was established.In July 1983, it was reorganized as Riding Dragon Township.In 2017, the People's Government of Nanchuan District agreed to abolish Riding Dragon Township and establish Riding Dragon Township. As of October 2021, Riding Dragon Town has 7 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The town's people's government is located at No. 13 Riding Dragon Street.
