Xinglong town, belongs to chongqing fengjie county, is located in the southeast of fengjie county, east of changan tujia township, south of hubei province enshi city sun river township, southwest of longqiao tujia township is neighboring, west of too and tujia township, northwest of qinglong township, five horse township adjoining, north of feng ping township border, from fengjie county government seat of 40.3 kilometers, the region has a total area of 344.6 square kilometers. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, the area of Xinglong Township belonged to Nanshan Duli; on June 3, 1989, it was changed from Xinglong Township to Xinglong Township. As of the end of 2018, the household population of Xinglong Town was 53,262. As of June 2020, Xinglong Township has 3 communities and 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township's people's government stationed at No. 173, Jinfeng Road, in the community of Delta Dam. Grain crops in Xinglong Town are mainly taro, corn, red camas, and soybeans; animal husbandry is based on raising hogs, goats, cows, and poultry; and fisheries is based on freshwater aquaculture.In 2018, Xinglong Town had 48 industrial enterprises and 46 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
