Qingyuan Town, belonging to Nanchuan District, Chongqing, is located in the southeastern part of Nanchuan District, neighboring Daogue Town and Pingmu Town of Daochen County, Guizhou Province in the east, bordering Guhua Town in the south, neighboring Delong Town in the west, and adjoining Danyou Town in the north, 34 kilometers away from the People's Government Residence of Nanchuan District, with a total area of 73.26 square kilometers. In the twenty-ninth year of the Republic of China (1940), Qingyuan Township was established; in 2016, it was changed from Qingyuan Township to Qingyuan Town.
