Park Overview
A National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone established in 1991 with the approval of the State Council, it is located in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, with a planned area of 119.5 square kilometers. It is the first National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in western China. The zone focuses on developing industries such as integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, biopharmaceuticals, and new energy vehicles. It is home to leading enterprises including China Resources Microelectronics, CETC Chip, Changan New Energy, and Jinkang Seres.The Chengdu-Chongqing Railway, Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway, Metro Line 1, and the Ring Line all traverse the park. By 2025, the number of high-tech enterprises is projected to exceed 1,200, with total operating revenue surpassing 320 billion yuan, of which the output value of the electronic information industry will exceed 110 billion yuan. The park serves as a key hub within the National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone and the Science and Technology Innovation Center of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle.
