Liulimiao Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Huairou District, Beijing, lies between longitude 116°27′17″~116°42′32″E and latitude 40°30′09″~40°41′17″N. It is located in the northern part of Huairou District, bordering with Shicheng Township of Miyun District in the east and neighboring with Huabei Township in the south. It is located in the north of Huairou District, bordering with Shicheng Town of Miyun District in the east, adjacent to Huibei Town in the south, neighboring with Bohai Town in the southwest, bordering with Sihai Town and Pearl Spring Township of Yanqing District in the west, bordering with Baoshan Town in the northwest, and neighboring with Tanghekou Town in the north. Before the thirty-sixth year of the Republic of China (1947), Liulimiao area belonged to Luanping County of Jehol Province. in February 1958, the 2 townships of Baichazi and Anzhouba were merged to form Liulimiao Township, which belonged to Iron and Steel People's Commune in September 1958, Liulimiao People's Commune was established in March 1959, and belonged to Qingshi Ridge People's Commune in March 1960, and was restored to Liulimiao Communal Commune in 1961, and the Commune was changed to a Township in 1983, which is a township in June 1998, and is now a township in Yanqing District. In June 1998, the township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2018, Liulimiao Township has a household population of 7,500. As of October 2019, Liulimiao Town has 25 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town government is located in Liulimiao Village, Liulimiao Town.
