Baoshan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Huairou District, Beijing, lies between longitude 116°19′40″~116°37′46″E and latitude 40°37′51″~40°56′31″N. It is located in the northwest part of Huairou District, neighboring Tanghekou Town in the east and Liulimiao Town in the southeast. Located in the northwestern part of Huairou District, it is adjacent to Tanghekou Town in the east, Liulimiao Town in the southeast, Pearl Spring Township of Yanqing District in the southwest, Qianjiadian Township of Yanqing District in the west, Dongmao Township of Chicheng County of Hebei Province in the west, and Yangmuji Zi Township of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County of Hebei Province in the north. The town area is 249.25 square kilometers.
During the Qing Dynasty (1644~1911), Baoshan area belonged to Luanping County of Chengde Province. During the Republic of China period (1912~1949), it belonged to Jehol Special District and Luanping County of Jehol Province, and from 1947 to 1951, it belonged to Sihai County, and in June 1952, it was transferred to Huairou County and belonged to the Sixth District, with five townships, namely, Xihuashan, Niuquzi, Xiafang, Pushishi, and Baoshansi, which were merged to form Baoshansi Township in August 1956 and merged into Tanghekou Township in July 1958, and in September of the same year, the area belonged to Iron and Steel People's Committee, and the area belonged to Tanghekou Township. In September of the same year, it belonged to Iron and Steel People's Commune, with Baoshan Temple Brigade.In March 1960, it belonged to Qingshiling People's Commune, with Baoshan Temple Brigade.In May 1961, Baoshan Temple People's Commune was established.In 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In November 2001, the 2 townships of Baoshan Temple and Mills were merged into Baoshan Township. As of late 2018, Baoshan Township had a household population of 10,188. As of October 2019, Baoshan Township has 25 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township government is located in Baoshan Temple Village, Baoshan Township.

Above-scale industrial enterprises 10, industrial added value of 100 million yuan, an increase of 9.4% over the previous year. Total fiscal revenue of 72.629 million yuan, an increase of 37.6% over the previous year. From the point of view of the main taxes, the completion of business tax 26.649 million yuan, value-added tax 6.367 million yuan, corporate income tax 13.051 million yuan, respectively, an increase of 27.5%, 14.1%, 77.7% over the previous year. Per capita fiscal revenue of 6,941.5 yuan, an increase of 37.6% over the previous year.
