Zhaoquanying Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Shunyi District, Beijing, is located between longitude 116°27′53″~116°37′26″ East and latitude 40°10′43″~40°15′09″ North. It is located in the northwestern part of Shunyi District, connected with Niulanshan area in the east, bordering with Mapo Town and Gaoliyang Town in the south, neighboring with Xingshou Town of Changping District in the west, and connecting with Beishitou Town in the north. The town area is 64.5 square kilometers.
In 1958, Zhaoquanying area belonged to Beilangzhong Management District of Niulanshan Commune.In February 1973, Zhaoquanying People's Commune was set up.In August 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In March 1997, the 2 townships of Zhaoquanying and Banqiao were merged to form Zhaoquanying Town. As of late 2018, Zhaoquanying Town had a household population of 27,813. As of October 2019, Zhaoquanying Township has 1 community and 25 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township government residing in Zhaoquanying Village, Zhaoquanying Township.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Zhaoquanying Town reached 1.99 billion yuan, an increase of 27% over the previous year, with an industrial added value of 580 million yuan, accounting for 40% of the GDP. The total fiscal revenue was 210 million yuan, an increase of 27% over the previous year. Of which 0.6 billion yuan of local revenue, an increase of 25% over the previous year. From the perspective of the main taxes, the completion of 0.7 billion yuan of sales tax, value-added tax of 0.5 billion yuan, 0.4 billion yuan of corporate income tax, 0.2 billion yuan of personal income tax, respectively, compared with the previous year's growth of 46.5%, 13.7%, 39.2%, 25.9%.
