Shiyuan Street was established in 2001, by the Beijing Shunyi District Government on March 8, 2005 to form the Shiyuan Street Office. The area is located in the south side of Shunyi City, east to Yanjing Brewery Group east border with Renhe District; west to the Beijing Cheng Railway and Wangquan Street border; north to the Shunping Expressway and Guangming Street, Shengli Street two streets border, with a total area of 9.6 square kilometers. It has a population of 48,531 (2010) and 13 neighborhood committees. at the end of 2006, it had an area of 9.6 square kilometers, a population of 63,500, and 11 neighborhoods. in 2011, it had 13 neighborhoods.
