Niulanshan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Shunyi District, Beijing, is located between longitude 116°36′23″~116°40′54″ East and latitude 40°11′04″~40°15′42″ North. It is located in the north of Shunyi District, east of Chaobai River and North Xiaoying Town, south of Mapo Town, west of Zhaoquanying Town, and north of Huairou District Miaocheng Town. The town area is 31.4 square kilometers.
In 1949, Niulanshan area belonged to the second district of Shunyi County.In 1956, the district was abolished and townships were merged, with Niulanshan as the center township.In 1958, Niulanshan People's Commune was set up.In 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In 1989, Niulanshan township was changed into Niulanshan Township.In April 1998, Shunyi County was changed to a district, and Niulshan Township was changed into Niulanshan Regional Office.In June 2000, Niulanshan Township was set up in the regional office. As of the end of 2018, Niulanshan Town has a household population of 30,298. As of October 2019, Niulanshan Town has 6 communities and 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town government is located at No. 9, Front Street, Niulanshan Town Hall.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Niulanshan Town reached 7.4 billion yuan, an increase of 15.6% over the previous year, with an industrial added value of 1.08 billion yuan, accounting for 99.3% of the GDP. The total fiscal revenue was 320 million yuan, an increase of 64% over the previous year. Of which 290 million yuan of local revenue, an increase of 77% over the previous year. From the point of view of the main taxes, the completion of 1.1 billion yuan of sales tax, value-added tax of 0.1 billion yuan, 0.7 billion yuan of corporate income tax, respectively, 91%, 11.1%, 169.2% over the previous year.
