Beixiaoying Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Shunyi District, Beijing, lies between longitude 116°40′17″~116°47′10″E and latitude 40°10′07″~40°15′35″N. It is located in the northeastern part of Shunyi District, neighboring Yang Township and Mulin Township in the east and Nancai Township in the south. Located in the northeastern part of Shunyi District, it is adjacent to Yang Town and Mulin Town in the east, bordering with Nancai Town in the south, connected with Shuangfeng Street and Niulanshan District in the west, and adjoining with Mulin Town in the north. The town area is 55.5 square kilometers.
At the beginning of the Republic of China, Beixiaoying area was the eighth district of Shunyi County.In 1949, it was the third district of Shunyi County.In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was Beixiaoying Township.In September 1958, it was the Mulin People's Commune.In June 1961, it was set up as the Beixiaoying People's Commune.In February 1978, the southwestern part of the Mafang Commune was merged with the people.In August 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In November 1989, the township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2018, Beixiaoying Township had a household population of 37,469. As of October 2019, Beixiaoying Township has 2 communities and 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township government is located at No. 9, Front Street, Beixiaoying Township.
