Dachengzi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Miyun District, Beijing, is located in the eastern part of Miyun District, between longitude 117°02′20″~117°15′27″ East and latitude 40°21′08″~40°28′29″ North. It is adjacent to Xinglong County of Hebei Province in the east, Juguozhuang Town in the west, Pinggu District in the south, and Taishitun Town and Beizhuang Town in the north. The town area is 144 square kilometers. In 1958, Dachengzi Township was established in Dachengzi District.In 1961, the township was changed to a commune.In 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In 2000, the township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2018, Dachengzi Township had a household population of 15,977. As of June 2020, Dachengzi Township has 1 community and 22 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township government located in Dachengzi Village.
