Henanzhai Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Miyun District, Beijing, is located at the southern gate of Miyun District, between longitude 116°43′56″~116°54′32″ East and latitude 40°15′55″~40°22′03″ North. It is neighboring with Jugezhuang Town and Dongshaoqu Town in the east, bordering with Mulin Town in Shunyi District in the south, adjoining with Beifang Town in Huairou District in the west, and relying on Miyun Town in the north. The town area is 66.7 square kilometers.
In 1958, Henanzhai District set up Henanzhai Township.In 1961, the township was changed to a commune.In 1984, the commune was changed to a township.In 1993, the township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2018, Henanzhai Township had a household population of 24,669. As of June 2020, Henanzhai Township has 3 communities and 28 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township government residing in Henanzhai Village.
