Linfen City, also known as Pingyang, Crouching Bull City, Flower and Fruit City, prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shanxi Province, is located in the southwest of Shanxi Province, relying on the Taiyue in the east, neighboring Changzhi, Jincheng; west of the Yellow River, and Yan'an, Shaanxi, Weinan across the river, the north of Hanxin Ridge, Jinzhong, Luliang, adjoining; south of the Yuncheng border, named because of the Fen Shui shore, located in the semi-arid, semi-moist monsoon climate zone, is a temperate continental climate.
