Xuanbao Town, belonging to Taixing City, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the northwestern part of Taixing City, bordering Huzhuang Town, Gaogang District in the east, Ganshi Township and Binjiang Town in the south, adjoining Koukang Street, Gaogang District in the west, and connecting Xuzhuang Street, Gaogang District in the north, with an area of 32.27 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Xuanbao Town has a household population of 32,045. During the Southern Song Dynasty, it began to belong to Taixing County; in 2000, Kongqiao Township was incorporated; in January 2009, seven villages within its territory, namely Zhaowang, Qiaoyang, Minghe, Guanying, Kongqiao, Qianzhao, and Caizhuang, were assigned to Xuzhuang Street of Gaogang District, Taizhou City. As of June 2020, Xuanbao Town has 1 community and 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located in Xuanjiabao Community. In 2019, Xuanbao Town has 170 industrial enterprises, of which 7 are above scale, and 55 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
