River Loss Town, belonging to Taixing City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the south of central Taixing City, bordering Huangqiao Town in the east and north, Guangling Town in the south and Yaowang Town in the west, with an administrative area of 64.41 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, River Loss Town has a household population of 51,189.
During the Ming Dynasty, it was Dongxinli, a township; in 1992, the township was abolished and River Loss Township was established; in 2000, Changzhou Township was incorporated. As of June 2020, River Loss Town has 3 communities, 16 administrative villages, and the town's people's government is based in Hetouzhuang.
In 2019, River Loss Township had 151 industrial enterprises, of which 15 were above scale, and 142 general stores or supermarkets with business areas of more than 50 square meters.
