Coral Town, belonging to Taixing City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the southeastern part of Taixing City, bordering Jiang'an Town, Rugao City, to the east, adjoining Jishizi Town, Jingjiang City, to the south, neighboring Guangling Town, to the west, and relying on Huangqiao Town and Boundary Town to the north, with an area of 49.26 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Coral Town has a household population of 50,325.
During the Southern Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Taixing County; in 1999, it was set up as Coral Township; in 2000, Hengxiang Township was abolished, and the eight villages under its jurisdiction, Dingda, Bajing, Erjia, Xuzhuang, Daxu, Xiaoxu, Zhouqiao, and Daiwan, were incorporated. As of June 2020, Coral Township has 3 communities and 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Erhe Xincun.
In 2019, Coral Town has 164 industrial enterprises, including 26 above scale, and 67 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
