Longshui Town, belonging to Chongqing Dazu District, is located in the south-central Dazu District, east and Zhifeng Street, Yulong Town, south and Shuangqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone connected to the west and Zhuxi Town, west and Tongxiang Street, Baoxing Town, north and Tong Xiang Street, Baoxing Town, neighboring, from Dazu District People's Government of 15 km, the area covers a total of 98.63 square kilometers. At the end of Tang Dynasty, in order to make weapons and stone carving tools, Longshui Town territory gradually formed a market town; in the first year of Xuantong of Qing Dynasty (1909), it was changed from naturalization field to Longshui Town. As of the end of 2018, Longshui Town had a household population of 117,457. As of June 2020, Longshui Town has 15 communities and 13 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located at 369 Xingguang Road, Xingguang Avenue.
