Longshi Town, belonging to Chongqing Dazu District, is located in the southwest corner of Dazu District, east and south of Zhu Xi Town, southwest of Rongchang District with Guchang Town, Hebao Town adjacent to the north of the three drive town, Baoxing Town, from Dazu District People's Government Residence 25 kilometers, a total area of 30.9 square kilometers.
During the Qing Dynasty, the territory of Longshi Township belonged to Jiasheng Li; in 1993, it was changed from Longshi Township to Longshi Township.
