Nanchuan District is subordinate to Chongqing Municipality, located in the south of Chongqing Municipality, at the crossroads of Chongqing and Guizhou provinces (municipalities directly under the central government), an international tourist destination with world influence, the pioneer area of Chongqing-Guizhou regional cooperation, Chongqing characteristics of the industrial base, and the ecological backyard of Chongqing metropolitan area.
