Park Overview
Approved in 2017, the Chongqing Aerotropolis Demonstration Zone is one of the first such zones in the country and the only national-level aerotropolis demonstration zone in central and western China. Zone C4 serves as a key functional cluster within the zone. Located north of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and adjacent to the core area of the Airport New Town, the zone covers a planned area of approximately 15 square kilometers. In 2025, it will continue to advance a strategy of integrated development centered on “aviation + manufacturing + services.”

The dominant industries focus on aviation logistics, high-end aerospace manufacturing, cross-border e-commerce, and aviation maintenance and support services. Key sectors include aircraft parts manufacturing, aviation materials supply chains, cold-chain logistics, and international express parcel sorting. By 2024, the Aviation Economy Demonstration Zone achieved an industrial output value of over 45 billion yuan for enterprises above designated size, with aviation-related industries accounting for 68% of the total.

The zone boasts outstanding geographical and transportation advantages, located just 3 kilometers from Terminal 3 of Jiangbei International Airport. It is directly connected to the G65 Bao-Mao Expressway and G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway via a dedicated airport expressway, and is within a 15-minute drive of the Xinglongchang Marshalling Yard at the Chongqing Railway Hub, enabling multimodal transport integrating air, rail, and road. The zone houses a Bonded Logistics Center (Type B), supporting a regulatory model of “relaxed controls at the first line, strict controls at the second line.”

The industrial layout follows a "One Core, Two Belts, Three Zones" structure: Zone C4 is positioned as an aerospace advanced manufacturing and comprehensive bonded functional zone, forming a synergistic relationship with Zones C1 (Aviation Headquarters) and C2 (Aviation Logistics). Major projects already introduced include the SF Express Innovation Industrial Base, the ZTO Southwest Headquarters, and the Sichuan Airlines Aviation Industrial Park.

In terms of infrastructure, 500,000 square meters of high-standard industrial buildings have been completed, along with 120,000 square meters of bonded warehouses, a hazardous chemicals storage area, and an aviation simulation and training center. The infrastructure meets the “Nine Utilities and One Leveling” standard, with a daily water supply capacity of 50,000 tons and dual-circuit power supply assurance.
