Yongning Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Yanqing District, Beijing, is located in the central part of Yanqing District, between longitude 116°05′17″~116°19′24″E and latitude 40°25′54″~40°33′42″N. It is close to Sihai Township in the east and Dazhuangke Township in the south, and Jiuduhe Township in Huairou District in the west. East of Sihai Township, south of Dazhuangke Township and Huairou District Jiuduhe Township junction, west of the old county town, Shenjiaying Township, Jingzhuang Township border, north of Xiangying Township, Liu Bingbao Township. The town area is 146.51 square kilometers.
During the Qin and Han Dynasties, Yongning area belonged to Yi County of Shanggu County. At the end of Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Ruzhou. Liao, jin, yuan period, belongs to jinshan county. Yongning City was built in the Ming Dynasty. In the early years of the Republic of China, it belonged to Yanqing County. In June, 1949, Yongning Town was established.In April, 1950, the town was changed to a district.In August, 1958, Dongfeng People's Commune was established.In 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In 1990, the township was changed to a town.In September, 1997, Qingquanpu Township was annexed. As of the end of 2018, Yongning Township had a household population of 26,646. As of June 2020, Yongning Township has 1 community and 36 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township government is located in Beiguan Village.
In 2011, Yongning Township local financial income of 2.765 million yuan, an increase of 9.6% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of sales tax of 2.212 million yuan, value-added tax of 493,000 yuan, enterprise income tax of 60,000 yuan, personal income tax of 100,000 yuan, respectively, compared with the previous year, an increase of 17.3%, 8.2%, 3.6%, 4.7%.
