Pearl Spring Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Yanqing District, Beijing, is located in the northeastern part of Yanqing District, between longitude 116°21′26″~116°34′08″E and latitude 40°31′30″~40°40′24″N. It is adjacent to Huairou District in the southeast and connected to Sihai Township in the west, and bordered by Qianjiadian Township in the north. The township covers an area of 143.47 square kilometers.
In the thirty-sixth year of the Republic of China (1947), it belonged to Sihai County of Hebei Province.In 1953, it was assigned to Yanqing County and separated from Sihai, and set up Pearl Springs Township.In 1955, Pearl Springs Commune was set up.In November 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In September 1997, Xiaochuan Township was merged into the township. As of the end of 2018, Pearl Izumi Township had a household population of 3,951. As of June 2020, Pearl Spring Township has 1 community and 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township government residing in Pearl Spring Village.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Pearl Spring Township was 21.718 million yuan, and the total financial revenue was 28.33 million yuan, of which 50,000 yuan was local financial revenue. From the perspective of each major tax, the completion of sales tax 13,000 yuan, value-added tax 33,000 yuan, enterprise income tax 0.4 million yuan.
