Shenjiaying Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Yanqing District, Beijing, is located in the central part of Yanqing District, between longitude 116°00′18″~116°05′34″E and latitude 40°27′20″~40°31′15″N. It is bordered by Yongning Township in the east and Jingzhuang Township in the south, and Danyushu Township in the west. It is close to Yongning Township in the east, bordering Jingzhuang Township and Dayushu Township in the south, Yanqing Township in the west, and Old County Township and Zhangshanying Township in the north. The town area is 31.02 square kilometers. Most of the villages in the Shenjiaying area were built in the Ming Dynasty, as military or civil cantonments of the Ming Dynasty. In 1948, Shenjiaying area was liberated. In August 1949, it belonged to the second district of Yanqing County. 1953, it built 2 townships of Wangquanying and Suzhuang in the area. 1954, when repairing Guanting Reservoir, Wanghuaying in the submerged area was relocated to this area to form 2 villages of Dongwanghuaying and Xwanghuaying. 1956, it was incorporated into Yanqing Township. 1958, it was incorporated into Jinjiaobo Township in March. August, it was incorporated into Dengtar (Yanqing) People's Commune as Shenjiaying Brigade. In July 1961, Shenjiaying People's Commune was established.In 1983, the commune was changed to a township.On July 1, 2000, the township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2018, Shenjiaying Township had a household population of 12,373. As of June 2020, Shenjiaying Township has 3 communities and 22 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township government stationed in the north of Fengzhuang Village. At the end of 2011, the total output value of wholesale and retail industry in Shenjiaying Town was 64.9 million yuan. Transportation and warehousing industry gross output value of 55.86 million yuan. Accommodation and catering industry gross output value of 60.95 million yuan. Total fiscal revenue of 4.755 million yuan, an increase of 10.5% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of sales tax 1.143 million yuan, value-added tax 2.764 million yuan, enterprise income tax 848,000 yuan. At the end of the year, one financial institution, Beijing Agricultural and Commercial Bank, opened an office.
