Wanping Street, a street under the jurisdiction of Fengtai District, Beijing, is located in the central and western part of Fengtai District, and is the core area of the Fengtai section of the Yongding River Green Ecological Development Belt in Beijing. The whole area along the Yongding River is a long and narrow zone from northwest to southeast, between longitude 116°11'16"~116°16′13″E and latitude 39°47′31"~39°52′37 "N. The street is located in the central and western part of Fengtai District, which is the core area of Beijing Yongding River green ecological development belt Fengtai section. It borders with Huaxiang Street, Jiandan Street, Wulidian Street and Lugouqiao Street in the east, Huangcun Town of Daxing District in the south, Changyang Town of Fangshan District and Changxindian Street of Fengtai District in the west, and Gaojiabao of Shijingshan District in the north.
In April 1992, Wanping City District was established. on November 14, 2002, Laozhuangzi Township was incorporated. on July 11, 2021, Wanping City District was abolished and Wanping Street Office was established, and Lugouqiao Village was assigned to Wanping Street.
As of July 2021, Wanping Street has 10 communities under its jurisdiction, including Chengbei Community, Wanping City Community and Xiaoyueyuan Community, as well as 3 administrative villages, namely Yonghezhuang Village, Beitiantian Village and Lugouqiao Village.
