Dahongmen Street, a street under the jurisdiction of Fengtai District, Beijing, is located in the eastern part of Fengtai District, between longitude 116°22′20″~116°25′49″ East and latitude 39°49′49″~39°51′21″ North. From Shuangmiao and Jiukongzha in the east to border with Xiaohongmen Township in Chaoyang District, west to Majiapu Road to border with Xiluoyuan Street and Majiapu Street, north from Muxiyuan Overpass to the middle of the South Third Ring Road as the boundary and East Tieshiying Street and Xiluoyuan Street, and south to the South Fourth Ring Road to border with Heyi Street and Old Palace Township in Daxing District. The jurisdiction has a maximum distance of 4.9 kilometers from east to west and 2.8 kilometers from north to south, with a total area of 9.6 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Dahongmen Street has 19 communities and 2 villages under its jurisdiction. The Dahongmen Street Office is located at No. 6, Dahongmen Beili.
Before 1949, the Dahongmen area belonged to Daxing County, and after 1949, it belonged to the 14th District of Beiping City. 1957, Dahongmen Township was established, and in 1958, it was transferred to Fengtai District. January, Dahongmen Street was established, and in August, it was merged into the Nanyuan People's Commune. July 1960, it was transferred to the Dahongmen City People's Commune. May 1966, it was changed to Dahongmen Street.
In 2011, Dahongmen Street had a total population of 193,000, with a local financial income of 150 million yuan, an increase of 21.4% over the previous year.
