Wangzuo Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Fengtai District, Beijing, is located in the western part of Fengtai District, between longitude 116°02′54″~116°11′45″E and latitude 39°45′40″~39°52′08″N. It is adjacent to Changxindian Town in the east and Xilu Street in Fangshan District in the south. It is adjacent to Changxindian Town in the east, Xilu Street in Fangshan District in the south, Qinglong Lake in Fangshan District in the west, Fangshan District and Mentougou District in the northwest, and Yungang Street in the north. The maximum distance between the east and west of the district is 20 kilometers, and the maximum distance between the north and south is 14 kilometers, with a total area of 63.62 square kilometers.
From September 1945 to March 1950, Wangzuo area belonged to the first district of Liangxiang County, Hebei Province. in July 1961, it was separated from Changxindian and established Wangzuo People's Commune. in March 1983, it was changed to Wangzuo Rural Office. in 1984, it was established as Wangzuo Township. in 2001, the township was changed to a township.
