Yukou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Pinggu District, Beijing, lies between longitude 116°55′25″~117°02′47″E and latitude 40°07′56″~40°14′07″N. It is located in the western part of Pinggu District, bordering Liu Jiadian Town, Wang Xinzhuang Town, Daxingzhuang Town and Machangying Town from the northeast to the southwest. In 1947, Yukou area belonged to the fifth district of Pinggu County. from July 1956 to January 1958, it belonged to Yukou Township. in September 1958, it belonged to Yukou People's Commune, with the jurisdiction of Daxingzhuang, Beiyangjiaqiao, Yukou, and Lezhengwu 4 administrative districts. from June 1961 to February 1974, it was established as Yukou People's Commune and Beiyangjiaqiao People's Commune. in April 1984, it was changed to township. in March 1990, it was changed to village. In April 1984, the commune was changed to a township, and in March 1990, Yukou Township was changed to a township, with 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.In July 2000, Beiyangjiaqiao Township was merged into the commune, and in 2003, Yukou District Office was set up, with a system of "one set of people and two brands". In 2011, the total industrial output value of Yukou Town was 816.99 million yuan, a decrease of 7.8% compared with the previous year, realizing industrial sales revenue of 814.82 million yuan, industrial profit of 5.052 million yuan, realizing tax revenue of 126.36 million yuan, and industrial added value of 202.05 million yuan, accounting for 69.8% of GDP. Local financial income of 62.54 million yuan, an increase of 28.1% over the previous year.
