Jinhaihu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Pinggu District, Beijing, lies between longitude 117°14′03″~117°24′32″ East and latitude 40°07′30″~40°16′54″ North. It is located at the intersection of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and is the northeastern edge town of Beijing, located in the eastern part of Pinggu District, neighboring Xiaying Township of Jizhou District of Tianjin City in the east, Steep Ziyu Township of Xinglong County of Hebei Province in the north, and bordering with South Dule River Township and Huangsongyu Township in the west. The town area is 132.92 square kilometers. In March, 1946, Jinhaihu area belonged to the third district of Pinggu County, stationed in Guanshanji. in May, 1950, 7 districts of Pinggu County were merged into 5 districts, and the second and third districts were merged into the third district, stationed in Nandulehe. in July, 1956, the area covered 5 townships, including Guanshanji, Zhongguancun, Dongmagizhuang, Zuwu, and Hanzhuang. in January, 1958, it was Guanshanji Township. in September, 1958, Guanshanji Township was merged into Hanzhuang Township. In September 1958, Guanshanji Township was incorporated into Hanzhuang People's Commune.In June 1961, it belonged to Hanzhuang, Guanshanji and Hongshikan Commune.In June 1966, Hongshikan Commune was incorporated into Guanshanji Commune.In April 1984, the commune was changed to a township.In November 2001, the township was changed to a township.In April 2003, Guanshanji Township was incorporated into Hanzhuang Regional Office, and at the same time, its name was changed to Jinhailu Regional Office (Jinhailu Town). As of the end of 2018, Jinhaihu Town had a household population of 33,619. As of June 2020, Jinhaihu Town has 2 communities and 25 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town government is located at 111 Hanzhuang Street in Jinhaihu Town. In 2011, the total industrial output value of Jinhaihu Town reached 204,377,000 yuan, an increase of 12.6% compared with 2010.In 2011, the total financial income of Jinhaihu Town was 84,350,000 yuan. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of sales tax 18.05 million yuan, value-added tax 2.28 million yuan, corporate income tax 1.43 million yuan, respectively, compared with 2010, an increase of -23.77%, 19.23%, 24.34%. Per capita fiscal revenue was 11,174 yuan, an increase of 15.8% over 2010.
