Xiagezhuang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Pinggu District, Beijing, lies between longitude 117°07′35″~117°14′50″E and latitude 40°03′57″~40°09′34″N. It is located in the southeast of Pinggu District, bordering with Nandulehe Town in the northeast and Xujiatai Village in Jizhou District, Tianjin in the southeast. It is located in the southeastern part of Pinggu District, bordering with South Dule River Town in the northeast, Xujiatai Village in Jizhou District of Tianjin in the southeast, Duanjialing Town in Sanhe City of Hebei Province in the south, Donggao Village Town in the southwest, Pinggu Town in the west and northwest, and Shandong Zhuang Town in the north. The town area is 60.66 square kilometers. In the thirty-fourth year of the Republic of China (1945), Xiagezhuang area belongs to the first and second districts of Pinggu County, of which Zhanggezhuang, Magezhuang, Yanggezhuang and Yangzhuangtou belong to the first district. Angu, Xiagezhuang, Longjiawu, Xianwangzhuang, Wangduzhuang, Chentaiwu, Jitaiwu, Weitaiwu, and Nantaiwu belonged to the second district. 1950, it belonged to the first district of Pinggu County. 1953, it belonged to the four townships of Jitaiwu, Xiagezhuang, Angu, and Magazhuang, and was still in the first district. 1956, it belonged to Zhanggezhuang Township. 1958, the township was changed to a commune, and belonged to the Zhanggezhuang Management Area of Chengguan People's Commune. 1961, it was established Zhanggezhuang People's Commune. 1976, the Zhanggezhuang People's Commune was established. In 1961, Zhanggezhuang People's Commune was established.In 1976, the commune was moved from Zhanggezhuang to the current site, and was renamed Xiagezhuang People's Commune in 1980 because it shared the same name with Zhanggezhuang People's Commune in Shunyi.In 1984, the commune was changed to a township, and in 1996 the township was changed to a town.In August 2010, the town government was relocated to the west of Magazhuang Village. As of the end of 2018, Xiagezhuang Town has a household population of 26,265. As of June 2020, Xiagezhuang Township has 3 communities and 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township government stationed in the west of Magazhuang Village, Xiagezhuang Township. In 2011, Xiagezhuang town has 13 industrial enterprises above scale. Total fiscal revenue of 44 million yuan, an increase of 7% over the previous year. Among them, the local financial income of 0.4 billion yuan, an increase of 7% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of business tax 0.7 billion yuan, value-added tax 0.2 billion yuan, enterprise income tax 0.3 billion yuan.
