Dahuashan Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Pinggu District, Beijing, lies between longitude 116°59′45″~117°06′36″ East and latitude 40°13′29″~40°21′33″ North. It is located in the northwestern part of Pinggu District, neighboring Zhenluoying Township and Xiong'erzhai Township in the east, connecting with Liujiadian Township in the west, bordering with Jugezhuang Township of Miyun District in the north, and neighboring with Wangxinzhuang Township in the south. The town area is 96.76 square kilometers.
Republic of China thirty-five years (1946) before, Dahuashan area for Miyun, Huairou, Sanhe, Pinggu 4 counties border zone, the territory of the southern part of Sanhe County, the western part of Huairou County, the northern and eastern part of Miyun County, the southeastern part of the small part of Pinggu County. In the thirty-fifth year of the Republic of China (1946), most of it was assigned to Pinggu County.In July 1956, Dahuashan Township was established.In September 1958, it was changed to Dahuashan People's Commune.In April 1984, the commune was changed to a township.In March 1990, the township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2018, Dahuashan Township had a household population of 19,529. As of June 2020, Dahuashan Township has 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township government is located at 269 Dahuashan Street, Dahuashan Township.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Dahuashan Town reached 66.04 million yuan, an increase of 27.3% over the previous year, with an industrial added value of 5.7 million yuan.
