Shilibao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Miyun District, Beijing, is located in the western part of the urban area of Miyun District, between longitude 116°43′01″~116°48′55″E and latitude 40°18′52″~40°23′03″N. It is adjacent to Miyun Town and Orchard Street to the east, bordering with Miyun Industrial Development Zone and Henanzhai Town to the west and Huairou District to the north. It is adjacent to Miyun Town and Orchard Street in the east, bordering with Miyun Industrial Development Zone and Henanzhai Town in the southeast, bordering with Huairou District in the west, and relying on Xitiangezhuang Town in the north. The town area is 30.8 square kilometers.
In 1956, Shilibao area built Shilibao Township.In 1961, the township was changed to a commune.In 1966, it was merged into Xitiangezhuang Commune.In 1974, Shilibao Commune was rebuilt.In March 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In 1993, the township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2018, Shilibao Township had a household population of 21,914. As of June 2020, Shilibao Town has 5 communities and 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the town government stationed in Shilibao Village.
In 2011, the gross industrial product of Shilibao Town reached 630 million yuan, an increase of 2% over the previous year. Total financial income of 31 million yuan, an increase of 12% over the previous year. Of which 25 million yuan of local revenue, an increase of 9.8% over the previous year. From the perspective of each major tax, the completion of sales tax 10 million yuan, 3 million yuan of value-added tax, corporate income tax 5 million yuan.
