Tanzhe Temple Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Mentougou District, Beijing, is located between longitude 115°54′57″~116°04′28″ East and latitude 39°50′20″~39°55′36″ North. It is located in the southeastern part of Mentougou, neighboring Yongding Town in the east, bordering Wangzuo Town in Fengtai District in the south, adjoining Hebei Town in Fangshan District in the west, and bordering Yongding Town in the north. The town area is 79.83 square kilometers. After 1949, Tanzhe Temple area was set up as a township. 1958, Tanzhe Temple area belonged to Mentougou People's Commune. 1962, Tanzhe Temple People's Commune was established. 1984, the commune was changed to a township. 1994, the township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2018, Tanzhe Temple Township had a household population of 12,216. As of October 2019, Tanzhe Temple Town has 3 communities and 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the town government located in Lujiatan Village, Tanzhe Temple Town. In 2011, the total industrial output value of Tanzhe Temple Town reached 55.43 million yuan. Above-scale industrial enterprises 4, 142 employees, industrial added value of 6.08 million yuan, an increase of 6.4% over the previous year. Total fiscal revenue of 63.04 million yuan, a decrease of 26% over the previous year. From the main taxes, the completion of the sales tax of 1.42 million yuan, value-added tax of 220,000 yuan, 650,000 yuan of corporate income tax, respectively, compared with the previous year, a decrease of 31%, 18%, 77%.
