Xiaowan Town, belonging to Fengqing County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, is located in the eastern part of Fengqing County, the south bank of the Lancang River, east of the Lixing River and waist Street Yi ethnic township boundaries, south and Luodang Yi Township adjacent to the west and Fengshan Township, Dasi Township border, the north of the Lancang River and the new Xinhua Yi and Miao townships and Nangjian County, Xiaowan East Township boundaries. The administrative area covers 198.34 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Xiaowan Township had a household population of 28,137.
Before 1949, in March 1984, the commune was changed to a district.In March 1988, the Majie Yi Township was established.In November 1993, the township was abolished and Xiaowan Township was established. As of June 2020, Xiaowan Town has 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The people's government of the town is located in Xiaowan Village.
