Dasi Township, belonging to Fengqing County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, is located in the northwestern part of Fengqing County, on the south bank of the Lancang River, connected with Xiaowan Township in the east, adjoining Fengshan Township in the south, bordering Mengyou Township in the west and Hot Springs Township and Laguna Township of Changning County, and Rushu Township in the north, across the river. The administrative area covers 204 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Dasi Township had a household population of 35,152. In the twentieth year of the Republic of China (1931), the second district was set up.In May 1969, the district was changed to a commune.In March 1984, the commune was changed to a district.In March 1988, the district was abolished and a township was established. As of June 2020, Dasi Township has 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Dasi Street.
