Shili Township, belonging to Fengqing County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, is located in the northernmost part of Fengqing County, bordering with Lushi Township in the southeast, adjacent to Zhujie Township and Zhujie Township of Changning County in the northwest, and across the river from Niujie Township of Weishan County in the northeast. The area under its jurisdiction is 211.68 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Shili Township had a household population of 24,846.
In 1949, it belonged to Guangfu Township and Rhinoceros Township.In January 1984, the commune was changed to a district.In March 1988, the district was changed to a township. As of June 2020, Shili Township has 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is based in Shili Village.
