Central and Western District is one of the 18 districts in Hong Kong, China, is the earliest developed area in Hong Kong, is the most wealthy people live in Hong Kong, for four consecutive years to become Hong Kong's "rich district". Central and Western District to commercial buildings, banks, government agencies, is the commercial center of Hong Kong, the financial center and the seat of the Executive Office, is the most prosperous section of Hong Kong, Hong Kong's downtown is mainly concentrated here.
The Central and Western District can be subdivided into three parts: Central, Western and Mid-Levels. The Central District includes the areas of Admiralty, Central and Sheung Wan; the Western District includes Sai Wan and Mount Davis; and the Mid-Levels includes the area around Tai Ping Shan and the northern part of Pokfulam. Central and Western District is bounded by Wan Chai District in the east and Southern District in the south. The northern waters are connected to Kwai Tsing and Yau Tsim Mong districts. The western waters are connected to the Islands District.
